Last year, I attended a workshop/seminar about building & managing high performance IT teams at Harvard.
After we completed the workshop, one of attendees recommended reading Harvard Business Review Magazine (HBR); after reading the free online version I took it upon myself to upgrade to a paid subscription and discovered it to have an abundance of information and multitudes of well researched materials on a broad range of topics.
One of my favourite papers was published on December 2013, titled “The Hidden Benefits of Keeping Teams Intact”.
Whether you are a team lead, a development manager or fortune 500 company executive in charge of an IT organization, you should invest sometime in reading this paper and others like it.
This subscription was my best investment in the year of 2013.
